If you can not establish the communication between the generator and the EMC PARTNER software please proceed as follows:

• Connect your generator RS-232 port via the shipped null-modem cable with your PC.
• Start the SerialTest.bat file on the EMC PARTNER software disk.
  The Microsoft Terminal program is now launched. Through this way you can investigate if the problem is on your PC or related to the EMC PARTNER software.
• Setup the correct COM-Port in the terminal program (Settings/Communication /Connector)
• Type: id? and press Enter. The generator should respond now with its identification string (generator type).
