Manual CDN for surge (CWG) and 100 kHz ringwave testing on 4 asymmetrical data lines. Differential and common mode coupling.
Coupling Surge (CWG) and Ringwave impulses onto asymmetrical data lines is a requirement from IEC 61000-4-5 and IEC 61000-4-12 basic standards. The coupling can be selected according to the impulse test type and data transmission rate of the EUT. Surge coupling 40 Ohm in series with 0.5 uF capacitor or 33V diode. Ringwave coupling is direct as required coupling elements are included in the ringwave generator An external coupling box can be inserted with 90 V Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) for testing on higher data rate interfaces.
