Electrical energy has become essential to our modern way of life. Electricity is still largely generated using conventional means and placed into a power distribution system called the grid. Transmission is then by high voltage overhead cables to substations which transform the high voltage to a much lower level that can be safely used by consumers. From the power generation, through the substations to users, every equipment is subjected to safety and EMC tests to ensure reliability of our power supply.
